disagree with me without attacking me, you are all obviously incapable of making any sort of friends when at least when it comes to people you meet via cars/z32s.
In my local Z club, i have a friend who's only car is his Z. When his Z was off the road and we needed to go buy parts and odds and ends for his car, i would always drive because i wanted to help him because he is my friend. Did i ask for GAS money? no because i'm not a taxi, and i'm not an asshole. When he was working on his car, i showed up almost every day to help out. Did i charge him labor for my time? no.I have a friend that sold me a MAF sensor that stopped working after only a week of me driving with it. He is finding me another used maf which he is going to give me, for no charge. Why? because he is a friend. I can keep on going with examples of people going out of their way for each other despite it not being in their best financial interest, but you will probably accuse me of being immature and not understanding the cruel adult world that we live in. I hate to burst your bubble, but i am an adult, as are all of my friends (both Z and non z32 related), and we all treat eachother with respect and would never hang each other out to dry over some small amount of money. If i didn't consider him a friend why would i give him those parts, plus the intercooler ducts i was going to give him for free not worrying about whether this specific deal was 'UNFAIR'? exactly, i wouldn't. Feing a friend to someone isn't about worrying what you give to them and what you get in return. I was generous with him in what i gave him and what i got in return was 'go fuck yourself' I'm sure none of you have actually made any friends in the years you've been involved in these cars because you probably view every meet like you are hanging out with a bunch of strangers who happen to have the same vehicle as you. However, if you had actually made any friends whatsoever, imagine selling/trading them a part and then when they come back to you and tell you it doesn't work for whatever reason, you tell them to go fuck themselves. Our Z club here has members that are legitimately friends and go out of their way for eachother. When someone's car is stuck dead on the site of the road at 2am, someone shows up to help. We all help each other out and do favors for each other and its rare that money is ever actually exchanged. The people who are selfish and seek only to benefit themselves and no one else are not welcome and that's why this asshole, and none of you would ever be part of it. The way you feel about this situation has less to do with the fundamentals of trading car parts and more how you deal with a situation with a friend, which obviously you don't have the burden of dealing with because you probably have none because you probably hung them out to dry because you bought them a beer 5 years ago and then never paid you back.
